DAY 1 - Arrival Amritsar Railway Station

Arrive Amritsar, meets our representative pick up Amritsar Railway station / Airport to transfer to your hotel check in Hotel fresh up Amritsar which is spiritual centre of Sikhism and Home to Shri Harminder Sahib (Golden Temple). And afternoon 02:30.pm you will drive towards Wagah Border to see the Closing Ceremony, event starts exactly by 5.30 PM everyday. Border closing 'lowering of the flags' ceremony is a daily military practice that the security forces of India and Pakistan. This ceremony takes place every evening before s1999. The ceremony starts with a blustering parade by the soldiers from both the sides and ends up in the perfectly coordinated lowering of the two nation’s flags; it is called the beating retreat border ceremony on the international level. One infantryman (Jawan) stands at attention on each side of the gate. As the sun sets, the Iron Gate at the border is opened and the flags are lowered. The flags are folded and the ceremony ends with a retreat that involves a brusque handshake between soldiers from either side. Return back to Hotel Dinner & unset at the Wagah border, which as part of the Grand Trunk Road was the only road link between these two countries before the opening of the Aman Setu in Kashmir in overnight stay at Amritsar Hotel

DAY 2 - Amritsar Local Sight seeing- Dalhousie and Local Sight seeing

Morning after breakfast, you will proceed towards Golden Temple (In 1578 Guru Ram Das excavated a tank, which subsequently became known as Amritsar (Pool of the Nectar of Immortality), giving its name to the city that grew around it. In due course, the Harmandir Sahib (The Golden Temple), was built in the middle of this tank and became the supreme centre of Sikhism) .and visit the massacre of Jalianwala Bagh. (The Jallianwala Bagh massacre, also known as the Amritsar massacre, took place on 13 April 1919 when troops of the British Indian Army under the command of Colonel Reginald Dyer fired rifles into a crowd of Indians, who had gathered in Jallianwala Bagh, Amritsar) after Jalianwala Bagh to visit Durgana Temple (Dedicated to the goddess Durga, this modern Hindu temple was built in 1921 in the architectural style of the Golden Temple. Surrounded by a holy water tank, it’s often called the Silver Temple because of its exquisitely engraved silver doors. Soothing bhajans (devotional songs) are sung here just after the temple opens and just before it closes) after this Sight seeing back Hotel and check out Amritsar Hotel and you will drive towards Dalhousie via Pathankot, Dalhousie is a serene Hill Station and beautiful town, with a sense of attraction. It is located in Chamba Distt. Himachal Pardesh. This hill station occupies a huge space over the five low-level hills at the western edge of the Dhauladhar range, merely in the east of the Ravi River. It is a best place for those people who want to de-stress, who want to spend some time in a calm place and in natural beauty. This Hill Town founded in 1854 by the Lord Dalhousie. This place attracts a lot to him by its fresh and cool atmosphere, its calm and green surroundings. This place based on an area of 14 sq.-km and surrounded by alpine vegetation. Dalhousie has a charming view of snow capped peaks in winter season and has great views of huge green mountains covered by pine and deodars. DAY 3 - Dalhousie-Khajjiar Sight seeing

Morning after breakfast, you will Proceed towards Khajjiar “The Mini Switzerland in India” arrival Khajjiar and enjoy the lush green meadows surrounded by thick pine and cedar forests. Later visit the temple of Khajji Nag & Pandav tree near the temple which has six shoots of same height representing five Pandavas and their common wife Draupadi. After Khajjiar Sight seeing back Hotel Dinner overnight stay at Dalhousie hotel.

DAY 4 - Dalhousie to Manali

Morning after breakfast, check out Dalhousie hotel, you will proceed towards Manali (345.Kms from Dalhousie). Manali (235.Kms from Dharamshala). Manali is Nestled in between the snow-capped slopes of the Pir Panjal and the Dhauladhar ranges, Manali is one of the most popular hill stations in the country. Dinner and overnight stay at Manali hotel.

DAY 5 - Manali-Solang Valley Sightseeing-Manali

Morning after breakfast you will proceed towards Solang Valley which simply offers panoramic view of mountains rising far above the clouds & which are breathtaking. Visit most beautiful Solang Valley (Adventure Valley) where numbers of Adventure activities is conducted. Later return back to hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay at Manali hotel.

DAY 6 - Manali Local City Tour

Morning after breakfast, you will proceed half day sightseeing of Manali which includes Hadimba Temple, Manu Temple, Tibetan Monastery, Club House and Van Vihar. Evening is free to explore the local market of Manali and you can also enjoy a nature walk on The Mall Road of Manali. Later return back to hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay at Manali hotel.

DAY 7 - Manali to Shimla

Morning after breakfast Check out Manali Hotel, you will proceed towards to Shimla (265.kms from Manali), Shimla “the Queen of Hills”, as Shimla was fondly called by the British, is one of the famous hill station in the Himalayan foothills. The capital town of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla was 'discovered' by the British in 1817. It is situated at 2213 meters above sea level. Shimla derives its name from Goddess Shyamala, an incarnation of Goddess Kali. Its commanding position on the crest of a ridge, cool air and lust countryside quickly made it a favourite summer resort. By 1864, when it was declared the summer capital of the British Raj in India, the 'Queen of Hill Stations' had become the epitome of everything British. The town is busy, lively and nostalgically 'English', with quaint Raj-era hotels and buildings. Sprawling over seven hills by dense forest and mountains, the hill station offers many pleasant walks through Himalayan Mountains thick with oak, deodar cedar, and pine trees. DAY 8 - Shimla-Kufri Sightseeing

Morning after breakfast, you will proceed towards KUFRI, India's one of the best holiday paradise Kufri in Shimla is beautifully tucked on an altitude of 2,622 meter. The place is a tourist hotspot for its awesome scenic and sports activities. Evening free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Shimla town – “THE MALL & THE RIDGE” This large open space in the heart of town presents excellent views of the mountain ranges. Shimla's landmarks - the neo- gothic structure of Christ Church and the neo - Tudor library building - are worth seeing. Dinner and overnight stay at Shimla hotel

DAY 9 - Shimla to Chandigarh

Morning after breakfast check out Shimla hotel, you will proceed towards Chandigarh (110.kms 04:30 hrs from Shimla), Chandigarh, the dream city of India's first Prime Minister, Sh. Jawahar Lal Nehru, was planned by the famous French architect Le Corbusier. Picturesquely located at the foothills of Shivaliks, it is known as one of the best experiments in urban planning and modern architecture in the twentieth century in India. Chandigarh derives its name from the temple of "Chandi Mandir" located in the vicinity of the site selected for the city. The deity 'Chandi', the goddess of power and a fort of 'garh' lying beyond the temple gave the city its name "Chandigarh-The City Beautiful". Enroute Pinjore Garden Sight seeing. Arrival Chandigarh and check in hotel. Fresh up rest of the day After fresh up visit Chandigarh local sightseeing Rose Garden, Rock Garden & Sukhna Lake. Dinner and Overnight stay at Chandigarh hotel.

DAY 10 - Chandigarh Airport / Railway station Drop

Morning after breakfast check out Chandigarh Hotel, you will proceed towards Chandigarh Airport / Railway station Drop and return Journey with Memories of Amritsar with Himachal (Amritsar, Dalhousie, Kullu, Manali, Shimla, Chandigarh) Package & Sight seeing

Cost Includes:

Cost Excludes:

1. Air Fare / Train fare.
2. Personal expenses such as laundry, telephone calls, tips & gratuity, mineral water, soft & hard drinks, rafting, rock climbing, paragliding, joy ride (Toy Train), porterage.
3. Additional sightseeing or extra usage of vehicle, other than mentioned in the itinerary.
4. Entrance Fees & Guide charges.
5. Any cost arising due to natural calamities like, landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), etc (to be borne by the client, which is directly payable on the spot).
6. Any increase in taxes or fuel price, leading to increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure.

Child Policy:

1. Child Below 5 yrs complimentary
2. Child 5 -10 yrs without extra bed as mention in cost column (CNB = Child no Bed)
3. Child 5 -10 yrs with extra bed as mention in cost column (CWB = Child with Bed)
4. Above 10 years / Extra adult with an extra bed sharing room are same & charged as per (EPSR)
5. Hotels are very strict with the child policy. Please carry the age proof so that it can be produced if asked by hotel.

Cancellation Policy:

1. Minimum Cancellation is Rs. 1000 per Head.
2. 25% Between 30-20 Days Before Tour Departure
3. 50% Between 20-10 Days Before Tour Departure
4. 75% Between 10-05 Days Before Tour Departure
5. 100% on the Same Day & No show.
6. Cancellation charges as % of Total Tour Cost.

About Vehicle:

1. We provide exclusive vehicles in our packages.
2. Non A/C Santro Wagnor / Alto for 1-3 Pax including child.
3. Non A/C Sumo / Max / Hard top Jeeps for 4-8 pax.
4. Innova / Scorpio / Xylo / Tavera for 6 pax including child.
5. Gangtok city tour is done only by Maruti van / Indica / Wagon R (4 people in a car).
6. If guest are booked for luxury vehicle, Innova / Scorpio / Xylo / Tavera will be provided as per availability.
7. Only 06 heads are allowed in 1 Innova / Scorpio / Xylo including child. In case the number of heads traveling increases, than the guest will have to take another vehicle.
8. In one Sumo / Max only 08 heads are allowed including child. If the number of heads traveling is more than 08, then guest will have to take another vehicle.
9. Incase the guest is opting for Innova / Scorpio inform the guest to travel light with minimum baggage of one piece per person. In case of excess baggage the guest will have to opt for an extra vehicle for carrying the excess baggage. The cost for this will be borne by guest directly.

Important : About Hotel-

1. Check-in 13:00 hrs. / Check-out time is 11:00 hrs.
2. The tourism infrastructure in Sikkim & Darjeeling is not very developed and one should not expect or compare it with the standards of plains & other developed destinations there is always scarcity of water and power in the region and so you would come across situation like water (hot) being supplied on time basis – morning & evening.
3. Room Heater available with an extra cost bourne by the guest directly (Except at Super Luxury , Luxury , Heritage Premium & Classic categories)
4. Category of Rooms in the packages normally remains to deluxe Room .
5. Hotels are very strict with the child policy. Please carry the age proof so that it can be produced if asked by hotel.
6. A valid photo ID proof for all guests staying at the hotel is mandatory.
7. For Extra adult in the room we will provide an extra bed (wherever possible), but most of the hotels only provide extra mattress or roll out bed. Most of the hotels have no provision of an extra bed.
8. Operator reserves the right to re-arrange itinerary to suit hotel availability without changing the total number of days in each destination and without compromising any services.
9. In the area (almost all) the hotels do not have a lift facility and in all the hotels the guest will have to climb stairs. In case if any guest is having problem of blood pressure, knee or other ailment for which they cannot climb the higher floors they will have to intimate us during the time of booking so that we can arrange rooms at the lowest floor of the hotel enabling the guest to climb the minimum number of stairs possible.

About Transport:

1. If arrival of guest is by train at NJP Railway Station, please be informed that our executive will be there to receive the guest at the New Exit Gate (Near Escalator) or arrive at Bagdogra Airport our executive will be there with the PLA – CARD at Exit Gate on the Airport.
2. The guest should always keep cool with the drivers as they are not tourism educated and come from different remote villages.
3. As there is shortage of space for car parking in the entire Sikkim & Darjeeling region – guest will have to wait at the Lobby in time for the vehicle to start their sightseeing / transfers.
4. We would appreciate, if the guest does not lend their ears to the drivers as most of the time they misguide the passengers. In such instances we would request them to contact our executive.
5. On arrival of guests we will provide mineral water, small kits, local tour co-coordinator number & service voucher. Our representative will brief the total tour itinerary to the guest.
6. As most of the services are on point to point basis, it is obvious that the drivers would also keep changing. Keeping this in mind please ensure that you do not leave your belongings in the vehicle as there is very little possibility of getting them back. Always check your baggage before leave the vehicle.
7. In this sector the same vehicles will not be providing for the entire tour, it will be changed sector-wise. So we request you to inform the same to your guest to avoid any circumstance.
8. If any tourist spot do not complete which falls on closing day & if they wants to do the same on next day then they have to pay the extra cost for the vehicle.
9. If guests want any changes in their sightseeing schedule they should be informed to our executive previous day before 16:00 hrs, after that no changes are allowed. If the guest inform after 16:00 hrs it will be consider as a cancellation with no refund or guest will pay extra cost for reschedule the sightseeing.
10. Please inform your guest to maintain the timing for the sightseeing / transfers which will advisable by our executive. Mainly in Gangtok vehicle will not allowed to park at the hotel instead of parking stand. Once our vehicle will leave the hotel area without picking up the guests & come back at parking stand then guest must have to arrange their own to reach at the parking stand.
11. In Gangtok outside vehicle are not allowed to enter in the city. Only local taxi can roam around within Gangtok city. All outside vehicle will pick up & drop them from Deorali taxi stand. We provide local taxi for pick up & drop from hotel to taxi stand. For this reason guest have to wait sometime in the taxi stand.
12. In case the guest is opting for Innova / Scorpio inform the guest to travel with minimum baggage (one baggage per person). In case of excess baggage the guest will have to opt for an extra vehicle for carrying the excess baggage. The cost for this extra vehicle will be born by guest directly.
13. Operator reserves the right to re-arrange itinerary to suit hotel availability without changing the total number of days in each destination and without compromising any services.
14. Only 06 heads are allowed in 1 Innova / Scorpio / Xylo including child and 08 heads are allowed in 1 Sumo / Maxincluding child. In case the number of travelers are increases, than the guest will have to opt for the additional vehicle with an extra cost which is directly payable by the guest on spot.

Terms & Conditions:

1. Every tourist should send a Xerox copy of their voter’s identity card or passport and three passport size photographs at least ten days before the tour starts. Tourists should carry their id cards at all times during the tour.
2. Booking to be confirmed before 15 days with payment.
3. Company does not have any liability if the tour is cancelled or itinerary changed during the tour due to any unpredictable event.
4. Company does not cover insurance in case of any accidents or loss of belongings, etc.
5. Do not carry Indian Rs 500 or Rs 1000 currency notes.
6. Tobacco & Tobacco products are banned in Bhutan.
7. Do not bring any plant or agricultural product out of Bhutan. It is illegal.
8. Credit cards are accepted in selected establishments in Bhutan.

Note:

* Permit require for Tsomgo Lake. It is mandatory that guest should carry 04 copies of pass – port size photograph, original photo ID proof with photo copy(identity card – Voter ID card/Pass-port/Driving License etc) for processing the permit.
* Permit also require for traveling to North Sikkim (Lachung & Lachen).Requires 02 more copies of passport size photographs along with original photo ID proof.
* The above mentioned hotels will be confirmed as per the room availability. Otherwise we will confirm similar category.
* The rates quoted in the packages are on per person basis, valid for Indian nationals & till 15th Sep 2014 (High seasons surcharge will be applicable from 20TH Dec – 04TH Jan).
